T-Shirt/Shirt
Have you ever wanted a shirt that has both the largest planet in the solar system (Jupiter) and an artist's rendering of the orbital resonance of the three innermost Galilean moons? Yeah you have. Snag one of these killer shirts designed by brother Juan Dean to celebrate the release of Medicea Sidera. Printed on super soft Gildan shirts! All shirts come with a download code for the EP.
Medicea Sidera is a sonic exploration of Jupiter and its Galilean moons. Callisto, Ganymede, Europa, and Io are the four largest moons of Jupiter and some of the most fascinating objects in our planetary neighborhood. Callisto has the oldest and most cratered surface of any object in the solar system. Ganymede is the largest moon in the solar system, larger than the planet Mercury, and home to a subsurface ocean. Europa has the smoothest surface of any object in the solar system and is also home to a subsurface ocean. Io is the most volcanically active object in the solar system. Jupiter is the largest object in the solar system after the sun and home to a massive red storm 1.3 times the diameter of Earth.
Medicea Sidera follows an inward path towards Jupiter, past Callisto, Ganymede, Europa, and Io, before reaching the Jovian atmosphere, diving beneath its clouds, and finally returning to the surface. It is functionally a single piece of music divided into chapters based on locale and themes based on the terrains and processes found on each celestial body. Ganymede, Europa, and Io are locked in a (1-2-4) orbital resonance; where in the time that Ganymede makes a single orbit of Jupiter, Europa makes two, and Io makes four. Variations of this 1-2-4 theme are prominent moments in the chapters Ganymede, Europa, and Io. The existence of subsurface oceans on Ganymede and Europa make them especially intriguing due to their potential for harboring life. The subsurface ocean themes that center these chapters build tension with the sounds of pitch black waters warmed by tidal heating and cryovolcanic explosions reaching into space.

Intense and unrelenting black / death metal bringing a merciless edge to their lacerating onslaught. Brutal / slam facets are executed with bloody effectiveness, and contrast in an interesting way with the black metal palette.
The dual vocal styles, alternating between shrieks and deep growls, certainly set this apart from others in similar genres. They also add a fair bit of dynamics to the album, breaking up some of the overwhelmingly driven aggression that constant beatdowns the listener. Lorenzo
What an impressive piece of black metal. This one-man hurricane is pure art. Sgah‘gahsowáh creates an haunting atmosphere. He puts so much soul in his music. Sælzer Bub
