about

Claw of Archimedes

The drums of war sound across the Ionian Sea. As ships approach the walls of Syracuse they are lifted from the water and capsized by the Claw of Archimedes.

Basilosaurus

40 million years ago the 66 foot apex predator, Basilosaurus, swam the Eocene seas. It preyed upon smaller cetaceans, sharks and fish, crushing their skulls with its powerful jaw and sharp teeth.

Red Giant

7.9 billion years from the present: the sun has expanded into a red giant star and engulfed Mercury, Venus and Earth. The habitable zone has shifted to the outer solar system and life seeks refuge on the former ice worlds of Triton and Pluto.

•••

Red Giant was recorded November 13th and 14th of 2020 at Studio Pepper in Battle Creek. It was mixed by David Bauman and mastered by Brendon Infante. The album artwork was drawn by Craig Horky and the layout, Lucius Fox logo and shirt design were created by Juan Dean. We miss playing shows and eagerly await the day that we will be able to safely do so again.

All sounds on this EP made by guitar and drums.
